I have sold articles, essays, columns and stories to a wide variety of magazines and newspapers including the Christian Science Monitor, Utne Reader, the Georgia Review, and the High Country News. Wrote an editorial column in the Fort Collins Coloradoan for two years. Here are all my published columns
Short story This Little Piggy Went Home in the premiere issue of Verbiage an e-magazine published electronically on the Internet.
Essay in the August 7, 1995 issue of the High Country News about Monster Homes.
Essay, Our Camera Develops a Friendly Mystery in the Christian Science Monitor Home Forum (Sept 1997) about losing and then getting back a camera with a surprise photo enclosed.
Three short stories in the computer anthology Computer Legends, Lies & Lore, my favorite of which is the fable Ms. Dos and the Eunuchs.
Published articles in the Banjo Newsletter--one on Additive and Divisive rhythm and a humorous essay on the sexual orientation of banjos.
Was an editorial columnist for the Fort Collins Coloradoan in 1990 but had to quit because of the Ethics in Government law.
Sold a humorous story about "How Xerox Became a God" to the men's magazine Unique before it went out of business. (One of the advantages of getting paid on acceptance).
This wasn't sold but I did get an A on it in my geology class. It's about how fractals are used to study earthquakes. Fractals of Fractures
