Bic Cigarette Lighter Blues
by Mike Moxcey
January, 1979 Aurora, Colorado. Play a blues tune on the banjo using
the lighter as a slide.
When I can't light a joint 'cause my lighter's out of juice.
I'm glad I make it a point to stock up on some booze.
And that's what I use, to get good and loose
and play myself some blues
and I play those Bic (slide blues riff) cigarette lighter blues.
When I can't flick my Bic
I don't know what to do.
I think it's a neat trick and it's ecological, too.
I take my lighter, use it for a slider
and play myself some blues.
I play those Bic (slide blues riff) cigarette lighter blues.
I like to sit outside and play all day long.
I like to play my slide and sing my song.
I think it's slick when I can't flick my Bic
to pick some licks and use my Bic to play the blues.
I play those Bic (slide blues riff) cigarette lighter blues.
