Do Lord (Different Progressions)

This song has already been presented once with the three regular chords. However, you may have heard the song with a different chord progression. If so, then the other version will sound wrong. You can try to figure out the other version by listening. It probably had another four chord or a minor chord on the third line. Or it may even have a ragtime chord progression.

Basic: I / / / | IV / / I | / / / / | I V I / |

Minor: I / / / | IV / / I | / / / VIm | I V I / |

In this case, the VIm is an Am when playing in C, an Em in the key of G

You may want to strum the minor chord one beat earlier.

Four: I / / / | IV / / I | / / VIm IV | I V I / |

This one hits the minor chord midway through the third measures then changes to the four chord.

Rag: I / / / | IV / / I | / / VIm III|VI II/V I / |

In order to get the II/V progression in the final measure, each chord is strummed for a half beat.
Here are the final two measures in different keys.

Minor: | I / / VIm | I V I / |

    C: | C / / Am | C G C / |

    D: | D / / Bm | D A D / |

    G: | G / / Em | G D G / |

    A: | A / / F#m | A E A / |

Four: | I / VIm IV | I V I / |

   C: | C / Am F | C G C / |

   D: | D / Bm G | D A D / |

   G: | G / Em C | G D G / |

   A: | A / F#m D | A E A / |

Rag: | I / VIm III| VI II/V I / |

  C: | C / Am E | A D/G C / |

  D: | D / Bm F#| B E/A D / |

  G: | G / Em B | E A/D G / |

  A: | A / F#m C#| F# B/E A / |
